7/11 Food Review Series: Edition 1- Andrew Atkinson

I’m starting this test to see if many of the lesser bought items at 7/11 are worth trying. First, we have the steak and cheese taquito. This comes in with a pretty high rating of a 8/10. The steak and cheese taquito has a solid blend of flavors with just a tiny bit of spice thrown into a molten core of cheese and meat. If you get lucky, you’ll manage a slightly crispy exterior to complement its gooey inner contents. For only $1.60, this comes in as a pretty good snack if you’re in a rush after school and need something to hold you over. However, with all of the other restaurant options I would not recommend treating this as a meal. Simply considering the price and taste alone, I would rate this as a solid 8/10, as a surprisingly good tasting treat with a variety of flavors and with a great price. It trumps other items if one only needs to calm their stomach, but with the variety of other options that even 7/11 itself provides, I believe that in most situations there is a better choice to purchase. Being the first food reviewed, this rating may fluctuate when compared to the other warm foods that will be reviewed as time goes on.
